Biography
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Chris Yi is a highly trained oral and maxillofacial surgeon committed to delivering exceptional patient care with compassion and precision. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton, where he also gained hands-on experience working as an oral surgery assistant at NEPA Oral Surgery. He went on to complete his dental education at Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine in Pomona, California.
Dr. Yi began his surgical training as a non-categorical oral and maxillofacial surgery intern at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed his formal residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where he developed comprehensive expertise in surgical techniques and patient-centered care.
Passionate about both clinical excellence and community engagement, Dr. Yi strives to build trust with every patient he treats. His approach is rooted in open communication, personalized treatment planning, and a commitment to improving the lives of those he serves.
Outside the office, Dr. Yi enjoys traveling and discovering new restaurants with his wife. He’s also an avid golfer and tennis player who values maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
